An Outreach Advisory Committee was formed to provide inspirED with guidance related to future outreach programs and activities and to help ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. Learn more about each of our Committee Members below.

Stephanie Buduhan

PSK – CPA
Audit Manager

Stephanie performs financial statement audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures, with a focus on serving nonprofit organizations. Whether it’s a small tip on how to better manage an Excel spreadsheet, or a deeper piece of advice on how to improve internal controls, Stephanie aims to offer meaningful recommendations that may help her clients.

Cynthia Carter

Sam Houston High School
High School Guidance Counselor

Cynthia Carter received her bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and her master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University. Cynthia has worked in education for seventeen years, first, as an English teacher in Mansfield ISD, then as a counselor in Arlington ISD. She is responsible for the creation of the College & Career Center at Sam Houston High School and maintains the college & career program at the school.

Stacy Garcia

Library Service Manager, College & Careers

As the Library Service Manager for College and Careers at the Arlington Public Library, Stacy’s focus is to provide citizens with the resources and tools to take that next big step in their lives, whether it is going to college, getting a better paying job or starting a non-profit or their own business. Stacy believes that education is a vital component of making your dreams come true and as a librarian has dedicated her career to connecting people with resources to help them achieve their goals. As an Army brat, she grew up in Germany and Arizona. Stacy graduated with a Masters in Library Science from the University of Arizona and has experience working as a librarian and researcher in schools, corporate America and public libraries.

Glenn Spoons

Manager, Education

Working as the Manger of Education at the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Glenn collaborates and partners with ISDs, higher education institutions and other community partners to promote and support college and career readiness initiatives. By supporting collaborations between business, education and community partners, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce is able to increase college and career readiness and grow the future workforce while preparing students for success in college, career and community leadership.

 

Glenn is a graduate of UT Arlington with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies.

 

Glenn believes the old adage, it takes a village to raise a child, could not be truer than it is today and that it takes us all working together to ensure all students are successful!
