Director of Community Affairs
Chris joined HESC as the Director of Community Affairs in August 2013. He is responsible for coordinating and implementing strategies to effectively promote community awareness regarding our mission and successfully broaden presence and impact in the North Texas region. Prior to joining HESC, Chris worked for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) where he was instrumental in supporting the state’s Closing the Gaps by 2015 higher education strategic plan. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & History.
Margaret has served as inspirED’s Outreach Coordinator since July 2013. In this capacity, Margaret manages all aspects of outreach programming which includes the eight area inspirED GO Centers in Arlington and Mansfield and the College Prep and FAFSA Prep presentations that are provided throughout the North Texas area. Margaret is a graduate of Arlington’s Sam Houston High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Education in Counseling from Texas Christian University (TCU). From 2011-2013, she served as the TCU Chapter Advise Texas College Advisor at her alma mater, Sam Houston High School.
